2. For raised edge lay a piece of fine cord or twisted threads (pic. 9) along the buttonhole edge. This gives a super-look and some support around the edges of the buttonhole.
3. Use the scissors and the hole punch tool for cutting hole on textile.
4. Use a special sewing thread for buttonhole making, for example, the Gutermann silk threads № 30.

Hand-made buttonhole – easy way to do it

Mark the buttonhole on the garment 1,5 cm from the edge. The size of buttonhole is equal the buttons size + button thickness. А fabric around the buttonhole sew by straight stitches (pic. 5).

The first, cut the eyelet with the hole punch tool (eyelet size is about 3-3,5 mm) (pic. 6).
