Sewing Instructions

  • Stitch the darts on the back and front pieces. Press the back darts toward the center back and the front darts toward the side seams. Press the darts flat.
  • Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Press the seam allowances open, turn them under to 0.5 cm (3/16 in), and topstitch.
  • Finish the outer edges of the flounces with a rolled hem. Join the flounce sections between notches 2 and 3 using a rolled hem. Stitch the center-back seam of the flounce.
  • Make four ties from bias strips. Position the ties according to the markings and pin them in place.
  • Place the flounce on the blouse, matching the flounce seam allowance to the blouse seam allowance, and stitch in place. Trim the seam allowance to 0.4 cm (1/8 in) and finish it with bias binding.

Your blouse is ready! Wear it with pleasure and enjoy!
